In this module you will learn how to assist people to dig deep into their psyche to break free of negative habits. We will be exploring the most common habits people seek hypnosis support for which are frequently ‘consumption habits ‘ such as nicotine usage, alcohol abuse, drugs or food to relieve anxiety and gain a feeling of comfort. The comfort from consumption is very short term and the cycle often escalates and the person becomes more entrenched with addiction with seemingly little or no control over their behaviour. Hypnosis has an excellent track record in creating habit liberation.


There is also non consumption habits which are equally as addictive such as shopping addictions, social media obsessions and OCD behaviours such as - excessive cleaning, checking locks, opening and closing cupboards or superstitious mental routines prior to everyday activities.


Habits are complex behavioural routines rooted in our personal history which become so ingrained in the psyche a person finds it a challenge to see a way out. They literally believe the habit is a part of who they are. Hypnosis has an excellent reputation for habit busting, with people achieving phenomenal breakthroughs with long held destructive habits.


You will learn how to help people explore their habits and behaviours at multiple levels of functioning, including trigger points, behavioural level, belief and intention. You will learn how to facilitate a process of hypnotic reconstruction for more resourceful behaviours to naturally present at the triggers which previously instigated the old habit.


The essence of this module is to create hypnotic liberation from habits and destructive behaviours bringing freedom and choice to where it once was missing.

  • How to break the mental and physical associations which form the negative routine
  • Working with the age old habit dilemma - people have self hypnotised to believe they enjoy their habit, this is a very strong illusion
  • Breaking the comfort illusions associated with substances and food, and transforming it to an inner confidence where the person naturally creates states of comfort

After this module you will have developed a highly practical understanding of how the mind narrows its focus on routine behaviours which overtime become habits and addictions. You will have learned the different psychological levels on which habits exist, the triggers, mental process, intention and physical output and how to create hypnotic interventions at each level to liberate the client of destructive habitual behaviours.


You will have learned specific protocols for common issues people seek hypnosis for smoking and substances, food, social media addiction and OCD patterns. Most importantly you will be able to help people liberate themselves from their destructive behaviours so they can enjoy freedom again.
